Dr. Zahra Bagheri is a uniquely qualified and highly trained dentist, as she is one of very few dentists worldwide to hold two dental specialties. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery and subsequently pursued advanced education at Boston University earning her specialty degrees in both Periodontics and Prosthodontics. Following her interest in learning more about implant dentistry she earned a Masters in Implantology.
Her intense training plus extensive background in research provide expertise and insight on the most updated materials and surgical techniques. Her passionate, and patient-centered approach to dentistry, deliver the best functional and visually appealing outcomes. Treatment is catered to patients case by case, and her years of experience in the field allow for successful treatment in implant, esthetic, and full mouth rehabilitation cases.
Dr. Bagheri is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology and currently a Clinical Associate Professor at New York University College of Dentistry. Additionally, Dr. Bagheri lectures internationally and is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, and Academy of Osseointegration. In her free time, Dr. Bagheri enjoys working with the community, spending time with family, traveling, and poetry.
Dr. Erin Reed grew up in Michigan and has lived in New York City for the past 6 years. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at New York University College of Dentistry, where she received the Bernard E. Rudner Memorial Award for demonstrating superior performance in providing oral comprehensive care and administering a dental practice. During her time at NYUCD she was involved in the leadership of many student groups as well as student government. Dr. Reed also volunteered to join an outreach trip to Mexico where she provided free dental care to an isolated and underserved population.
After graduation, she completed a rigorous General Practice Residency at Lincoln Medical Center in the Bronx, NY. Dr. Reed is a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, New York County Dental Society, and the New York Society of Forensic Dentistry.
Dr. Reed provides comprehensive and compassionate dental care to all of her patients. She brings an eye for detail and quality from her engineering background and combines it with a gentle and caring chairside manner. Dr. Reed is passionate about dentistry and enjoys all aspects including preventative care, restorative, cosmetic, root canal therapy, crowns and bridges, dentures, orthodontics, and oral surgery procedures. She is committed to patient satisfaction and working together to create a healthy, beautiful, confident smile.
